E-mail sent to your new domain name will be automatically forwarded to your existing e-mail addresses which you indicate in Properties. This service will let you and your company have constant mail addresses. That means that for example if you decide to change your provider, it will have no influence on your address.
Service works only in case that the domain name is delegated. Domain can be delegated if at list two name servers indicated in the domain name information responding to the zone request. You can use our name servers (services Primary-Standard, Primary-Auto, Secondary) or any servers you wish.
Management of service Mail-Forwarding:
You can establish individual rules of mail-forwarding for a single mail address in your domain name. You can set from 40 up to 200 individual rules of mail-forwarding depending on lengths of domain name and users names. It is possible to set only one individual rule for each address.
For other mail addresses in your domain name you can establish one of two general rules:
All mail directed to your domain is forwarding to another domain without changes of user name (except the mail directed to the addresses set by the individual rules);
All mail directed to your domain is forwarding to the single mail address (except the mail directed to the addresses set by the individual rules).
In case you don't set the general rule of mail-forwarding, letters directed to the mail addresses not shown in the individual rules will be deleted. Sender will receive the confirmation "User unknown".
Ordering service package (several services at the same time, including Mail-forwarding) it is possible to set up the general rules for the mail forwarding only. The individual rules could be set up at the section "Manage your account".
If a letter is sent to several addresses in a domain for which Mail-forwarding is ordered and for each address mail is forwarded to one and the same address (according to rules of mail forwarding) only one copy of the letter delivers to this address.
If you order Mail-forwarding and do not use service DNS-Hosting, you should write appropriate record in zone file on Primary DNS of your domain.
