The recovery procedure is available for international and foreign domains (.com, .net, .org, .me, .tv, etc.)* and the domains of the New gTLD program, for which the deletion procedure has been initiated for non-payment.
If the domain renewal is not paid for within 30 days after the registration deadline, Rucenter launches the domain deletion procedure in the Registry. The domain can be restored and extended provided that no more than 25 calendar days have passed since the start of the domain deletion procedure in the Registry.
To restore the domain:
1. Top up the contract account. To restore the domain, you must pay the total amount for two services — domain restoration and domain renewal.
2. After depositing the funds, send a request to restore the domain to tld-ncc@nic.ru . In the request, specify the domain name and request to restore the domain.
In response, you will receive an authorization link in the personal account. After completing the authorization, you agree to deduct funds from your personal account for the restoration and renewal of the domain. Consent must be given within one day.
3. After the domain is restored, you will receive a notification by your contact e-mail.
Domains that have not been restored are deleted from the Registry 35 days after the start of the deletion procedure for non-payment. After the domain is removed from the Registry, the domain can be registered by any person.
For .ru, .рф, .su and third-level domains, restoration is available as part of the reservation option.
