How to set up a domain to work with Ecwid

If you register a new domain when purchasing Ecwid from RU-CENTER, it will be setup automatically. Any changes to the domain zone will come into effect within 24 hours, depending on your internet service provider's settings.

When ordering the service without a domain, you will get an address of *.shop-nic.ru type free of charge.

To change the domain name used for the website, go to the "Sales channels - Website" section in the control panel. Scroll down to the "Website address" item and click on "Change address."

You can modify a free website address or specify your own domain name in the opened window.

If you use DNS servers provided as part of the Hosting service, the necessary resource records will be added automatically. If you use your own DNS servers or the ones provided as part of the DNS Hosting service, you'll need to specify the following resource records: your_domain.

A 100.24.184.24

www.your_domain. CNAME your_domain.

The changes will automatically come into effect in 2 hours. Once the processing is complete, the website will be available on the specified domain via a secure HTTPS protocol protected by an SSL certificate.
