Data Security, additional opportunities for clients

 Ban of receiving the password by e-mail

Under the customer's agreement or form (NIC-D) you may forbid/allow receiving the password recovery link upon a request, sent by e-mail to the address, specified in the "e-mail" field of your agreement (form). In order to do that you should:

  • Enter the "Manage your account" section;
  • Choose in the menu "Service Agreement. Change the password";
  • Find the block "Ban/permission to recover the administrative password via e-mail";
  • Click the button "Forbid" or "Allow".

By default, password recovery via e-mail is allowed. If you change the password, a corresponding message will be sent by e-mail to the address, specified in the "e-mail" field of your agreement (form).

Ban on Password Change Without Personal Presence

You may set a ban on changes of administrative password without personal presence of your entity’s representative or domain name registrant (if the agreement with RU-CENTER is signed by an individual or a sole trader).

To do that, you need to submit a request to perform actions related to change of administrative password only pursuant to letters signed personally at the RU-CENTER office by a specific representative of the entity or by a domain name registrant (if the agreement with RU-CENTER is signed by an individual or a sole trader).

Send the letter at this address:
ul. 3 Khoroshyovskaya, d. 2, s. 1, Moscow, Russia, 123308

or bring it personally

For greater security, we recommend additionally set a ban on receiving administrative password via email for customer’s agreements (NIC-D) in the “Manage your account” section.

In the case of any doubts in the authenticity of the provided information, RU-CENTER reserves the right to request additional documents.
