All Rucenter domains are provided with an essential security level by default.
You can upgrade the security level to Enhanced or Maximum at any time during the domain name registration period.
To enable the Enhanced or Maximum security level:
1. select the desired level on the security levels page;
2. select the domains for which you want to enable the level during the ordering process;
3. pay for the order.
The security level is valid from the moment of enabling until the expiry of the domain name registration period. The cost of the level is fixed and does not depend on the date of enabling.
You can also enable Enhanced or Maximum level of domain security when renewing a domain. To do this, select the appropriate level during the domain renewal ordering process.
Enabling the Enhanced or Maximum level of security when renewing a domain will make all options of the new level become available immediately from the moment of payment until the expiry of the registration period for which the domain was renewed.
You can change the security level during its validity period only to a higher level by placing an order on the security levels page. The new level will take effect from the moment of enabling until the expiry of the domain name registration period. The level fee is fixed and does not depend on the date of enabling.
You can switch to the Essential security level only after the Enhanced or Maximum levels expire. To switch to the essential security level, you must disable the renewal of the active Maximum or Enhanced security levels in the "Renew services" section.
You can change the level from Enhanced to Maximum or from Maximum to Enhanced in the "Renew services" section no earlier than 60 days before the expiry of the domain name registration period.
