Opting out of service renewal

60 days before the end of the service, you can cancel your renewal. To cancel the renewal, go to your Profile. In the Active Services section, select Domains, click Renewal opposite the applicable domain, and on the page that opens, click “Cancel renewal”.

If the registration period of the .RU/.РФ domain is not renewed by the registrant before the expiration date, the domain delegation is terminated on the day following the date specified in the Whois service in the paid-till field. If the planned date for termination of delegation falls on a weekend or holiday or the following business day, the termination of delegation is postponed to the second business day after the weekend or holiday.

After the expiration of the renewal grace period (30 calendar days from the date specified in the Whois service paid-till), if the domain registration period is not renewed by its registrant, the domain will be automatically deleted (free-date in the Whois service). If the planned date for release of the .RU/.РФ domain falls on a weekend or holiday or the following business day, the release of the domain is postponed to the second business day after the weekend or holiday.

Lists of domains to be released, information on the release time of .RU, .РФ domains from the Registry are provided on the website of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ at: https://cctld.ru/service/dellist/. According to the Registry rules, the number of domains deleted per day in the .RU zone is 15,000, in the .РФ zone the number of domains deleted per day is 10,000. Domains that are not included in the current day's list are included in the next day's list.
