Remote Access to a MySQL Database

By default, database server connections are only available from within the hosting environment and via PHPMyAdmin. If you have multiple hosting services under the same contract, you can also configure them to work with a single database.

To enable remote access to a hosting database, you need to submit a request by email to support@nic.ru or via the Support Service section in the hosting control panel. The request must include the MySQL username for which remote access should be enabled. For remote access, use the specified MySQL username, the server address mysql.hosting.nic.ru, and port 3306.
