Upgrading to MySQL 8

You can change the MySQL version in the Databases section of the hosting control panel. To do this:

• Go to the MySQL Version (Версия MySQL) tab;
• Click Switch to MySQL 8 (Перейти на MySQL 8).

The MySQL version upgrade is irreversible and may affect the functionality of your websites.
During the upgrade process, your virtual hosting service will be temporarily suspended.

In the pop-up window, choose what to do with your existing MySQL databases, then click Switch to the new version (Перейти на новую версию).

The duration of the upgrade depends on the size of your existing databases. For databases larger than 5 GB, the process may take up to 2 hours.
