Configuring Google Services

To use Google services, you need to add the DNS records required for those services to your domain’s zone file. Let’s consider email as an example.

You need to create MX records of the following type:

test.ru.

MX 10 aspmx.l.google.com.

test.ru.

MX 20 alt1.aspmx.l.google.com.

test.ru.

MX 20 alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.

test.ru.

MX 30 aspmx2.l.googlemail.com.

test.ru.

MX 30 aspmx3.l.googlemail.com.

test.ru.

MX 30 aspmx4.l.googlemail.com.

test.ru.

MX 30 aspmx5.l.googlemail.com.

Additionally, to verify your administrative rights to the domain, you may be required to create extra DNS resource records.

All required records can be added with a single click.

To add these records:

  1. Open the DNS-master editor and select the domain you want to edit.

  1. Select Google Services in the Apply Template section.

  1. Click Add records to the zone.

  1. Upload (publish) the changes to the DNS servers.

Changes will take effect within 1–2 minutes.
