Creating and Restoring a VDS Snapshot

To create a VDS snapshot, go to the VDS control panel.



Click on the VDS ID, open the Available Snapshots (Доступные снимки) section, and click Create Snapshot (Создать снимок).



During snapshot creation, VDS performance may decrease slightly. The time required to create a snapshot depends on the disk size — on average, 1 hour per 100 GB.

To restore the server from a snapshot, click the ► icon and confirm the action.



Restoring from a snapshot takes approximately the same time as creating one. During the process, the server will be unavailable.

Once the process is complete, the server state will be restored to the moment the snapshot was created.
