Domain recovery

The recovery procedure is available for gTLDs and ccTLDs (.com, .net, .org, .me, .tv, etc.)* and New gTLDs for which the deletion procedure for non-payment has been initiated.

If the domain renewal is not paid within 30 days after the registration expiration date, Rucenter initiates the domain deletion procedure in the Registry. The domain may be restored and renewed provided that no more than 25 calendar days have passed since the start of the domain deletion procedure in the Registry.

To recover a domain:

1. Refill your personal account. To recover a domain, you must pay a total amount for two services - domain recovery and domain renewal.
   gTLD and ccTLD recovery and renewal rates (.com, .net, .org, .me, .tv, etc.)
   New gTLD recovery and renewal rates (.рус, .xyz, .moscow, .москва, .онлайн, .online, etc.)

2. Once the funds have been credited, send a domain recovery request to tld-ncc@nic.ru. In your request, please indicate the domain name and request for its recovery.
   In response, you will receive a link to log in to your profile. By logging in, you agree to the debiting of funds from your personal account for domain recovery and renewal. You must give your consent within one day.
3. Once the domain is restored, you will receive a notification to the contact e-mail.

Domains that have not been restored are deleted from the Registry 35 days after the start of the deletion procedure for non-payment. After the domain is deleted from the Registry, the domain can be registered by anyone.

For .ru, .рф, .su and third-level domains, recovery is available as part of the reservation option.

* .hn, .name, and .kz domains cannot be recovered.
